I can't live with out it! I'm a former Twitterlicious user, but since trying out Snitter I can't bring myself to go back!

Available for Mac & PC. My favorite features are the easy access drop down menu that allows me to switch to direct messages and replies, the sound notification on replies, and the Twoosh! - an image and sound appear when you make a perfect 140 character Tweet.

I'd love to see more color options, but that is just cosmetic.

I agree about the color options and I wish it showed more than the last 20 messages, but if you check it every 5 seconds like I do (yeah, I'm that kind of loser) than it's not a problem.; ▶ Reply to This

I'm all about Twhirl now, which is essentially the same - you've got Twitterific (mac only I think), then Snitter and now Twhirl - they all retrieve your Tweets and let you post in a fancy desk top widgety window as opposed to the web page.

I'm an addict and each of these programs are enablers!

I guess I'm a heavy Tweeter and I like having a side bar on my desktop so I can catch things and quick post when the moment strikes.
